If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Overall, the place was cheap. With that in mind, you will get EXACTLY what you pay for. From a dirty facility to below sub-par customer service, dealing with this place will surely make your grieving process last for months to come. They will lie. They will attempt to rip you off. You will question your decision to save a couple of bucks. Do yourself and your loved one a favor and please have someone more professional ethics care for the final arrangements.

  • My parents purchased pre-need funeral contracts with mission funeral home approximately 45 years ago. My father passed away out of town 2 years ago. Mission funeral home from the moment of my father's passing made all the arrangements and had my father airflighted back home to El Paso in record time without any delay. Words cannot express the care and attention that we received from the mission funeral home staff. I know my father is sitting up in heaven very happy to know that his daughter did not have to make any difficult decisions at such a time of loss.

I am now working with MIssion Funeral Home (Oct. 2016) arranging my mother's funeral (working with the pre-paid funeral that she was thoughtful enough to have for her family - - and they were not wealthy by far). My mother also needed to be transported by air to El Paso. Again, I can give a top review so far. I have been working with Tony. He has coordinated with Fort Bliss personnel. I really don't understand why there are bad reviews out there. I have reasonably high standards (consider myself an average person). Maybe there are other "fancier" places, I don't know but I know that the most important thing for me was dignity and respect for not only my parents but their siblings as well which we have received.

Very very few companies that sold pre-need contracts when my parents purchased theirs are even in existence today. Not only was Mission still in existence but they remembered my parents. Can't say that of even their church that I grew up in and attended for decades.

So I hope that this review helps others. I didn't price or shop other places. But this is my experience and I thought I would share.

    Take care and God Bless.

Sadly, the memory of our grandmother is marred with memories of low class service, ugly building, and especially them supposedly forgetting to take her jewelry off prior to cremating. They were heirlooms to be passed to the daughters. Nobody in the family believes they forgot to take her jewelry off. And nobody believes she had them on when she was cremated.
