  This is a good church that is fading away slowly. The support system is great if you're in the "click". I have been attending this church for 14 months and have seen several attempts to boost up the youth ministry and still being shot down by individuals in the traditional. Position status/length determines who is in charge. Some Church are Pastor driven, some Board driven and other have found a way to work equally in all humility. This is not one of those churches. This is board driven and those in higher positions have the final say. It is beneath the Higher individuals to consult with those lower than them. There is so much potential with the other so-called "lessor" staff members. I feel that we should always seek advice from our elders as well as seek to bring in the younger generation, not at compromising or conforming Christianity but embracing and adapting. I would not be surprise if the church is in financial despair, relying on retirees to contribute more financially and dictate what happens within the church with no biblical grounds. If there is to be growth then there is need to express an live in humility. Sometimes, people who have worked in a position of authority find it hard to let go so they assume positions of leadership in congregations. Have we forgotten that the King of Kings humbled himself and never tried to use His Deity to manipulate, or control but relied on the Word that was/is written. We have been given a checks and balance system already and it can be found in the Word of God..the BIBLE. Wrong doing goes un-punished and "fronts" of kindness hide wickedness within some key staff members. I pray that its not too late..
